I think Roach wanted ODLH becomes raging bull so he would be derailed from his concentration..! Not bad, one way for Pacman to win over ODLH!!!

lol Is it just me, or does Roach only look good and sound good when Paq is fightin a bum or slower fighter for him? I honestly never heard anything that great come out of Roach's mouth.

I mean when he was in Oscar's corner, he thought if Oscar put pressure on Floyd that would get him the vicotry...lol Oscar is old as ****, and thats Roach's gameplan??

Oscar's best success that fight was with the jab, he was controlling Mayweather with that jab and pickin off Floyd's weak ass punches with his gloves. Oscar's success in that fight had nothin to do with pressure, it had to do with boxing, Oscar usin the little speed he had left and his reach lol.

Poor Old Freddie, Going After That Never Ending Stream of Suckers....Again.

At last the ****roach has spoken without "forked tongue. "I don't know if I'm crazy, but....." although, since that insect is pretty smart, should I say cunning, we can be fairly sure that, although the ****roach believes he's being smart, he's really, in a big Freudian way, bringing his fears out into the open. I'll bet he felt much better after that statement.

And...I sincerely DON'T believe, that Oscar has been annoyed -via ****y's remark about "pulling the trigger"- by anything that anyone says. you don't get to be an almost billionaire by allowing yourself to be annoyed by standard comments an opposing trainer, when this is all part of "the game" to coax fans to place therir flabby bottyoms on expensive seats, so that Oscar can inch ever closer to that coveted "billion".

In fact if he hadn't made a fake show of annoyance about this, he'd have done it over "old Mother Hubbard's Shoe" or"The 3 Bears' Porridge", or something equally silly.

Yessss SILLY, but hardly as silly as the fans who believe that nonsense.

It's kind of funny he said the exact same thing i said about the trainer situation in the DLH camp.

even if i knew 100% for sure oscar will win......i still want to watch it just to see how good (or bad) manny does.
Oscar didn't take the Forbes fight seriously. Don't forget that Oscar himself has said....in an unconnected moment...that he's had the Pacquiao fight in his mind to make, for over a year. So......it was to his great advantage to look not so good in the Forbes fight. And STILL, with all that going for Forbes, along with the pre-fight mullarky, I think Oscar won either every, or almost every round. He could hardy fail to unless he fought blindfolded, and with his hands tied behind his back. Well anyway..one hand. .

I Ihink that the Forbes fight was a preparation for the Manny fight, and the worse he would look, the greater the Oscar-Manny gate and PPV. Forbes is a little guy, almost the size of Manny. Boxing is a business, even amateur boxing, being a prep for the pros, and, except for Don King and Bob Arum, Oscar is the sharpest in the game.

            With him, however...it's NO game.

Oscar is not in his prime so every hit like this just takes away from a Pac win, if he does win. And if he loses, that something else.

But of course, like many of us know, with a lot of fans the NAME means more than where the fighter is at in his career...which is sad and ignorant.
Yes, Oscar is not in his prime, well past it in fact, but his decline has been slow. DON'T FORGET, as I've reminded readers many times, that Oscar is ranked as the #1-154 lb'r in the world....... Manny has had only ONE SINGLE fight as high as 135., only 6-7 months ago he was fighting at 130 lbs.

Oscar will surely come into the ring at abou 160....

                  2008.

I was reading this, feeling bad for Oscar De La Hoya if? He was being beaten up by the fighters within his stable 'But then of course, I saw the date of the article'.
