the size difference is huge.....10 lbs. may not seem like a lot, but ask pavlik. when you add that much weight, as fast as this fight came about, it usually does more harm, as far as affecting speed and energy, than good (as far as increasing power and durability). adding weight like that has to be done right, i.e. the way hopkins did it for tarver......
i dont think pac will come into the fight over 143 anyway, but considering the fact dlh still packs a punch, and is so much bigger, a win here would be bigger for pacman than hopkins' win over pavlik, i think....just by the fact some people acutally picked hops to win, NO ONE is picking manny to win hereComment

The manager of Victor Ortiz wanted to put to rest once and for all the scuttlebutt regarding Ortiz allegedly beating up on De La Hoya during sparring sessions in Big Bear Lake, Calif........ I think the rumors are a little outrageous considering that Victor is such a young man and Oscar has all these years of experience. That's number one, Arellano said And number two, I talked to Victor and he said, 'No, that never happened.' He also said, 'As a matter of fact, I'm very grateful to be up in camp and I'm learning a lot from Oscar. He talks to me, he runs with me and he shows me things and I would never disrespect him that way.
seriously, ronnie needs to stfu with these sparring stories, who the *** cares? ITS SPARRING not a ***ing real fight, they workout and then do the sparring = tired..Comment

This rumor is clearly false. Ortiz is a 21 year old Junior WelterWeight. I could see him beating up DLH a little bit if he had just come back from a run or something, but busting him up and getting fired from camp? Not happening. Same goes for those who are convinced Khan is beating up Pac everyday.Comment
