there isn't a fighter in the welterweight division that can prepare cotto for margarito; it is just a bad style match-up for cotto... he should just stay away from margarito, but money dictates and he will fight him again. moseley made the same mistake with winky wright.
margarito is not a fast fighter and cotto could not get away from his punches; he just doesn't have any advantages over margarito. margarito beats him 9 out of ten times..

I don't think people get it. Cotto can fine tune a strategy he'd use on Marg to a degree against Baldomir. He's not as good as Tony, but he pressures and is a walking chin himself with heavy hands. Cintron and those other guys aren't good warm up fights, they don't provide good enough similarities for his rematch next June.

I dont think Cotto-Baldomir is a good fight to put on, although I do understand what your saying. I think hiring Baldomir as a sparing partner for Cotto in the prep. for Margarito would make more sense.
