Berto who? Cotto is the name... i take nothing away from berto..but come on people Cotto's pride is hurt and that makes him a very dangerous fighter.. Berto's speed is not enough for Cotto's power not to mentio the way he punishes the body. that will tae bertos speed...cotto all the way

I think Berto could pull an upset. Cotto's weaknesses are stamina, chin, and susceptibility to uppercuts. Berto showed that he can shift to a higher gear late in a bout. Neither has one punch KO so we will have an extended fight. If Berto can push him into the late rds while maintaining a fast pace then we may see Cotto get stopped. Berto would have to straighten a lot of his shots and increase his use of the shoulder roll to protect his body and counter Cotto. Berto definitely has the heart to **** with Cotto with none of the expectations to win. I like Berto via UD in an entertaining fight. With that being said, Arum won't take this fight!

Cotto can also apply pressure, and I think Cotto will be the agressor in this bout. Berto shifted to a higher gear with a fight who wouldn't apply much pressure, that would be a different scenario for Berto. I hope this fight gets made, so Cotto can win a belt and get back in the mix.

Williams should have tried to get Vernon Forrest in a fight, if not then Williams should have sought out a unification fight with CLOTTEY or a title defense against Cintron......

pollo he got tired because he was backing up the whole fight, he prpbably went like 3 miles just going backwards, thats why he got tired.plus he's nevered had to actually box anybody before, just didnt have a gameplan. but anybody else would've got KO with those punches Cotto was throwing. the 1 problem with me about Cotto is his defense( which still isnt good in my eyes, e****ally getting hit with margaritos wide and slow a ss punches) so when the punches are coming in 3 times faster than Margaritos he will really have to adjust. but when Berto gets hit flush his a ss is going down. I think it can be classic, hopefully it goes down, maybe it's so good if Cotto wins then fights Margarito, maybe We'll have Cotto-Berto II late next year or Cotto-Margarito III or Cotto- Mosley II or Margarito-Clottey II or Margarito-Williams II....damn I love boxing. good stuff pollo, talk to you later im out.

Your right About Margarito Taking those punches..Geez have you ever seen a fighter take so many damn punches and keep going (well maybe Gatti) or Rocky) I do believe Cotto has a chance in rematch ...he most definatly has more balls than all the welterweights. As for Berto ...Berto is in trouble but I give him credit for even fighting Cotto...I predict 6-8 rounds before Cotto knocks him out...lets face it Brothers dont have them hard heads like Mexicans(just a Joke). And as for Margaritos slow ass punches ..yes they were slow but there were alot. Lets not forget Margarito is a pro. and some ofthem will get you .....lol,,,also good point about Margarito not being on Cottos level but still winning...You never know

make the fight! please hbo cotto vs soto carass is for the versus network please dont make that fight. berto matches up better then cintron height/ style wise. it will be an explosive fight. i think berto is ready to step in to the limelight. i think his speed is gonna be too much for cotto. but cottos boxing skills top shelf. should be a great one!

Now if Cotto survived Margo's punches and I say survived because he wasn't KTFO, he took a knee. He will survive Berto who doen't have Margo's power and doesn't take the kind of punches Tony does.

Dude are you serious?!? KTFO?!? One thing is to go down on an okey doke or caught on the chin while throwing a punch... But to be beaten to the point where u submit on your knee is because you are being demolished... its ok to be a fan bro.. but you have to be objective and keep things in a clear perspective... Cotto recieved worse than a KO.. He was broken down like a father beats his child... AND I LIKE COTTO but I can admit the truth.. I said that Margo would get him cuz he has never faced a guy who has made him go backwards until Margo.. he was winning the fight thru and thru... but really Margo got clean shots only in the 11th round... which Cotto couldn't take... he didn't "resort" to his knee, he was BEATEN to it... LITERALLY. And PLEASE man... I haven't seen a towel thrown in for a long time... but yea.. it was ugly in there that day..
