I mean DiBella said straight up that he wont fight Marg or Williams.

Because the size disadvantage wouldnt in in a cotto-berto fight, Berto fighting cotto would be okay for lou dibella, Berto fighting williams or Margarito would be murder due to the sheer size of those two.

Exactly, if the WBC champ isnt going to step up at 23-24 when is he going to? I say take the fight if offered and do you best as the champ.

I'm not a Cotto fan at all, but I would favor him to win in this fight. berto is looking more and more like Jeff lacy to me everytime they put him in a fight he takes forever to get it going and usually it is with fighters much less skilled than Cotto. Plus coming off a loss and wanting to stay on that track he was on , I would bet he comes in in very good shape and would try to frustrate Berto which he would probably do very easy. I think Steve Forbes is great but they tryin to tell me that Berto is a tier 1 prospect with really heavy hands and good speed and he can't find this guy. I dunno I have been impressed by him but I have always been more like Jesus this guy is taking forever to get in a groove and against the top fighters that won't fly....I actually pick Cotto and hope the fight happens now. Cotto also gets respect for taking a good fight jesu he took a horrible beating and his blood actually splattered on the camera for god sake he could have easily marched a bum out there for a pick me up and nobody would have been that upset.

Too soon for Berto. He should fight someone like Clottey or Collazo.

I don't think this fight will get signed, but if It does I think Berto will surprise people.

Make it happen, actually make any fight for Cotto happen. He needs to bounce back one fight at a time but sooner then we hope.

Berto isn't ready for Cotto, he gets knocked out if the fight happens.
