terrible (sorry i cant do the reply thing as im at work and it dont it for sum reason) you are quite right... altho Cotto does get rocked... the next minute he looks like he's never been hit.... the problem with Torres and Corley is that they couldnt finish... not sure whether Berto would be able to either... i suppose the point i was making is that Cotto's chin is the only way this match-up becomes fair because on pure boxing skills I believe Cotto would take this hands down....

yeh Margo wore him down but we saw the same thing in that when his chin got touched, he got fazed... a concussive, accurate puncher would give Cotto reall trouble imo.... but is either Berto or Cintron that guy ?? im not sure

i think Cotto gets buzzed a lot but not really hurt he has been in their with some good punchers like Shane,Pinto, etc and he did win those fights against Torres and Corley

Marg is a 154lbs fighter and he broke Cotto down more than anything
Berto gets buzzed too if you seen his fights. He was knocked down before and was buzzed against forbes. Berto gets buzzed the same reason Cotto does, because they don't see the punch coming

He is too young for this fight, Cotto is in his prime and appears to be hungry for Margarito again. Berto should save this fight for down the road.
            100% agree.

            What does that prove?
Even IF Berto was stunned, he's proved that he has the resilience to come back and win regardless. If ANYTHING it's positive for Berto!

Berto himself, stated that he feels he is "ready" for the "big names" and the only way to see where your'e at is to fight the "best" opposition. In a recent interview Collazo most recently labled Berto "green" as well. Only one way to test that theory. Berto should exercise this option if he feels that confident. Yeah, some will say that Berto's defense needs fine tuning....well cotto is not defensive master himself. Thier style matchup is well suited for an action packed fight.

Berto's so quick at countering, has impeccable combinations, lungs to go the distance, good chin, and has GREAT footwork. Notice when he misses his huge shots, he's still in place for a quick follow-up.

Cotto's experience alone shows his quality.
He's already fought a 'speed ball' in Malignaggi, and we saw what he did to him. The only difference is Berto hits much harder than Paulie.

If you watch both Cotto's & Berto's whole career, you'll see this fight will be closer than some of you think.

Stylistically, this fight is similar to Chavez vs Taylor, Cotto has some similarities to Chavez and Berto reminds me somewhat of Meldrick Taylor.
