He was basically Roy's childhood friend and so called "protege". Roy gave him so many chances, financially, on undercards, publicity, but they guy just ******. Basically he was just a Roy Jones wannabe. I might make fun that certain fighters are boring to watch, but this guy's picture is in the dictionary next to the word Boring.

he didnt ditch gainer.. gainer is an ACTUAL friend of roys, hes not ditching him... Gainer just isnt fighting on the card on November 8th, and Roys training up in Pennsylvania... no real reason for Gainer to be there

Yep what everybody else said. I could understand why Roy would think that he would end up as a pretty good boxer because of his speed and him being a southpaw and all but he lacked the power to keep guys off of him IMO.
