Hopkins performance was better and more Impressive as he could have gotten the decision unlike Foreman
throwing punches and not landing > not throwing punches and not landing

yeah i was impressed on how boring and ugly bernard can turn a match.

mmm That could be worthy of a thread of its own.

But no, what I mean't was he could have tried to clinch his way through the fight. He had the size and strength to do that but instead he chose to go for the KO.

Hopkins fight was ugly yet he made Calzaghe look bad and could have gotten the decision. Foreman lost clearly

as far as the fight , i thought it was dull as hell. bernard landing some clean shots but only when he punches which wasn't much. joe was active and tried to be aggressive but wasn't doing much damage. kinda hard to fight someone when the other person doesn't want to fight i guess......
this is boxing not "fighting". calzaghe got the definition of outboxed. hopkins neutralized his slappy offense and landed at will.

foreman outweighed evander by 30-40 lbs. , maybe he should have clinched and grabbed his way to a close decision......

oh wait george is a fighter...... he's not an executioner.

              ???

boxing is not fighting? boxing is a form of fighting.

if he could land at will then why didn't he? how nice of bernard to not want to hurt his opponent too badly.

Again the question wasn't on which fight was the closest. I'm sure Foreman could have had asimlar result by throwing 5 punchers and then clinching and throwing Holy around for 12 rounds.

Hopkins gave a better fight even it was ugly and could have easily won and made Calzaghe look ****. Foreman just got hit and lost clearly

I like George Foreman's style when he was older. The "Armadillo Stance or something like that.

I remember watching that fight on USA Tuesday Night Fights Boxing.
                      That was a good fight.
