There were 2 separate negotiations. Miranda ditched Kessler for Abraham the second time. I've send you a PM of the details.

i got the story,,doesn't really sound convincing,IMO there was no need for a second negotiations or a second time around...but who really knows weather both these stories are true or not..you know how the media can be..but really if kessler really wants to go to the states,,,i think he would of done it by now..

You are completely missing the complexities of fight negotiation/career management. You can't just fight whoever you want, whenever you want, whereever you want, for however much money you want...

                Daggum?

You have consistently produced some of the worst posts I've seen on this board mate. Tell me, what type of fighter is Johnson? He is a come forward, no side movement type, pressure fighter no? Well, we all know the problems he gave Dawson. Did you even see the fight? Probably not.

For one thing, Kessler actually has a fantastic, hard jab which he works off constantly. He is also much quicker than Johnson and punches as hard, if not harder. He is also in his prime, whereas Johnson is a forty year old man. He uses much more movement, whereas Johnson comes straight forward without any angles at all willing to take many to give one. Fortunately for him, Dawson was often standing right in front of him and can be hit, as has been seen in a number of his fights already. Maybe you haven't seen any of them though and just go off what gets written about him here, which is that he is a skilled boxer with great movement and defense.

That is all very true, but, he is also a fighter that gets lazy quite often and is able to get hit, sometimes quite easily and very flush. He also has a slightly suspect chin. I don't think his chin is very bad, but he has been hurt a number of times and been down a number of times. Either way, I would, right now, take Kessler over both Tarver and Johnson. Both were about forty years old and well past their best and while Tarver didn't present too many problems for Dawson, Johnson certainly did. Kessler, right now, has better movement, faster hands, much better jab and combo's, and is in his prime. There is no way "he would get destroyed" as you so eloquently put it.

Saying all that, I still think Dawson would win, but I also think there would be a number of hard times for him and that it is very possible that Kessler could win. He does punch hard enough to hurt and probably KO Dawson and a great way to stop speed is to use a hard jab, which Kessler has. Calzaghe, unlike Dawson, is a fantastic spoiler and took Kessler out of his game very well. Dawson would not do that and doesn't have the experience to do it, which means Kessler would get to fight his own fight and Dawson gets to fight his.

Now, I'm not saying that Mundine is as good as Dawson, but, Kessler worked against his speed, which, like it or not is easily as good as Dawson's, and used his jab, combination's and subtle movement to neutralise a lot of Mundine speed and boxing skills. Granted, Mundine was quite inexperienced at the time and Dawson now has much better experience but so has Kessler. I would put my money on Dawson, but I also give a big chance to Kessler. To count him out is either to not understand boxing or simply not watch either fighter, which I'm guessing is your case.

Wha' choo talkin' 'bout? Course you can do that! You just say who you want to fight and then you go fight them! That's how the real fighters do it! None if dis ***** **** like these guys pretend to do biatch! If you wanna fight someone, all you gotta do is go up to them and say "I call yo ass out muthaf*kka!!!! Yo ass betta fight me biatch or else I tell everyone yo duckin' my ass......muthaf*kka. If yo a real fighting muthaf*kka yo as get down here now and fight me biatch. Our management don't need to organise **** yo, you, me just fight right now! I gone **** yo ass up!"

There is no business in boxing. It's just fighting and that's it. What the hell does negotiation and career management have to do with anything? "Yo, I fight who I want, when I want, where I want! Yeah mutha****a!"
