this is always hilarious to me because it's the only picture anyone can find of a solid punch being landed on hopkins face by Joe.

Seriously, give me a break guys. Joe did NOT hurt Hopkins.

Now that being said I think Joe hits harder than people think when he sits down on his punches. Watch 24/7, he's throwing straight shots at the bag. Much different than the "windmill".

He would be exactly what he is now, he would be an ATG that fought on for 5 years to long.

If jones is to lose i'd say it would be points and i would feel safe in choosing
that option considering Joe is a featherweight type puncher

He could though if the ref is unexperienced stop Jones

Paulie is about as strong in his division as Joe is in his.

If he didn't hurt Hopkins, why didn't Hopkins walk through the "slaps" and KO Joe?

For the same reason he didn't go at Howard Eastman, too defensive minded. Hopkins himself has stated this is the reason he wasn't getting close fights by the way. That's why he didn't play that against Pavlik.

Calzaghe isnt a power puncher, he overwhels his opponents with his speed and punch output. I am a huge Roy Jones fan, and Im hoping he wins, but im picking Calzaghe for this one, but Roy does have a chance.

Laughing...You're not helping your argument with this picture. A light slap would distort the face more than that punch did.

Garbage. If you're not being hurt there's no reason to be defensive. An elite fighter goes in there and gets slapped around because he's too defensive minded, so therefore risks losing a fight even though the slaps don't hurt? What a load of crap. No disrespect to you. If that's Hopkins' excuse, it's extremely poor.

He didn't really hurt him properly, he "smothered" him with punches some were hard others were perhaps just distracting punches. He threw a few straight lefts and that right hook that moved B-Hop's head but they never really hurt him.
