The ref even said Bute wouldn't have made the count had he continued. They should have known something was up with that hometown ref.

Bute was up at about 6 seconds and steady at about 9, so I think it wasn't as controversial as everybody is saying. However, he was practically out on his feet before the knockdown, and I've seen many fights stopped for that reason...

So, although Farhood was making it out to be much worse than it actually was because of his bias, there is reason for a rematch.

I was disappointed in the way Bute fought in the last round. He fought brilliantly for 11 rounds, but I could see it coming after a minute into the 12th because Bute fell away from his gameplan and started exchanging punches in close with Andrade, who was landing some good left hooks.

But I think Bute was too tired in the 12th to continue to move about the ring as quickly as he had before. I noticed in the 11th round he was becoming fatigued, his punches were becoming less sharp and effective. I've seen his past three fights, and he didn't gas in the late rounds.

He deserves a rematch without a doubt and I think Bute will take a lot of critisism for not giving it to him

hmmmmm on second thought, Im kind of doubting my 'no' vote...Bute WAS up before 10, with or without **** ref...but he was totally gone. I mean, he was in BAD shape. had that fight gone 15, theres no doubt he would have been easily TKOed, and there would be no controversy at all.

honestly, its kind of iffy. Im going to change my vote and say yes...because Bute was in no shape to continue, even if he got up legitimately before 10.

but a rematch would be the best thing, no matter what.

                  I'm not sure.

The referee was terrible, and the ending was a farce, but I don't think that a fight should be stopped with seconds remaining, even if one of the boxers is badly hurt.

Andrade deserved a lot better than the treatment he received tonight, but it's conceivable that Bute survives the round without the incompetent/biased ref.

The fans know Andrade won. He is a true warrior right down to the bone.

He finished that last round like a wild man. he wanted blood, he got it, then the ref mopped it up and denied it to him.
