On his arrogance, if he (or Mayweather) thinks that retiring undefeated means you're an all time great, he's wrong. All I hear from him is that he's a legend killer. Does that mean he just picks on old men?

Sorry, I know a lot of people like him but I can't stand him. Go Roy!
Arrogant, yes...overrated? Very little, if at all.

I don't like the arrogance either, but face it...most fighters at the top of the heap are at least that, and more.

I like to see him fight, that's the more important thing for me, so I try to ignore the arrogance and conceit.

he has talent but he doesn't put punches together well. all he really has going for him is his undefeated record and his number of defenses.

he totally doesn't come across as a guy who never would have lost if he fought better competition, even if he retired undefeated.

HUGE ego- but still loved. Imagine a boxer who didn't think he would win?
LOL @ "All who DARE." You make him sound so dangerous.

How do you 'come across' as someone that would never have lost if they fought better competition?

What the **** does that mean?

Only thing it could mean is, this guy would have lost had he faced other people, is my wild interpretation just from assessing how he comes across personality wise.

You just exposed yourself as the ignorant, guessing piece of work you are them apples, you really did.

Eubank (31) Lacy (27) and Kessler (28) were not "aged"!

Calzaghe is actually UNDERRATED by Americans who have the irrational belief that a great fighter has to be American and black.

Joe is arrogant, but I don't hold that against him. Overrated? I'd say so, but again, not holding it against him.

What I don't like about him is the way he fights, everything about him is ass backwards. From the way he squares himself up when throwing, to the awful slapping routine, to his piss poor grasp on balance. He looks like a rough amateur to me nearly every time I see him fight. I can't respect a guy who cannot even master how to throw a proper punch (fist extended, knuckles first, not fist open, palm first.).

Win, lose, or draw, he's gone after Roy and I won't miss him in the least. Hopefully he leaves in defeat, but I don't put much stock in Roy these days. Either way he leaves and I'm happy.

Well, technically not. How long ago did Floyd retire and I still have to listen to his group of fans bring him up daily? I'll never be rid of Calzaghe.

I will give him credit for his chin and stamina though, both of those are world class. It's just the rest that's garbage IMO.
