Calzaghe is arrogant and overrated

    Calzaghe is arrogant and overrated

    Interested to see what people say to come to Joe's defense. I think Calzaghe is a great talent and puts punches together better that most, but I just don't see greatness. Beating a aged Eubank, Lacy, Kessler, and Hopkins on an off night doesn't do it for me in terms of his legacy.

    On his arrogance, if he (or Mayweather) thinks that retiring undefeated means you're an all time great, he's wrong. All I hear from him is that he's a legend killer. Does that mean he just picks on old men?

    Sorry, I know a lot of people like him but I can't stand him. Go Roy!

      Hopkins didn't lose to Joe Calzaghe because he had an "off night". He had an "off night" because he was fighting Joe Calzaghe.

          arrogant? well all fighters are to an extent. overated? I think he is. its not thats hes not great, i just think he can be beaten.

                      i have to say his arrogance is one of the main reasons ive never really taken to him all that much even right back from the time he beat Eubank i know all fighters are arrogant but when Calzaghe does it,it just annoys me and i dont know why its probably because he looks to have one of those faces you wanna slap

                          I've always thought the same thing. Thats one of the reason i don't like Calzaghe. Its that I don't respect his skills, its just his personality that bothers me. Roy is arrogant in a light hearted way...imo.
