When Cotto isnt voicing an opinion you jump all over him for not speaking up(not calling out mayweather), when he voices his opinion(wich is a correct opinion and one that most of you guys on here share, you jump on him for that.) All this cottobot crap is bullshhit, just cuz he dont open his mouth at every oppertunity and crave for attention like a little girl (and most fighters now a days) dont mean he cant speak up when he feels like. Cotto has room to speak on this because he acctually is taking on all the best names, and they are bigger guys. When he does have a tune-up (gomez) its against a bigger guy then him. Excellent point! and as far as Cotto taking that knee, he knew something was in cheato's gloves, and took a knee to stop any further or permenent damage. And by now i am sure he knows the scoop. His confidence is back, he is on his way back up again, and will prevail. I think he's more than earned the right to voice his opinion. Something he rarely does. He is soft spoken and lets his fists do the talking.

I really like this forum, but like any forum, it has it's idiots and good posters and great posters. Everybody has a right to post what they think, or know for a fact.

At least he don't run his mouth calling people out. that's **** talk. Cotto is probably one of the most humble men in boxing today, most fighters have huge ego's, and a man's ego can destroy him, if not taken in moderation, based in reality.
Humble people are teachable and can reinvent like someone said.

Comments made at a time when nobody knew how Pacquaio's body and self will react to the higher weights. The fight with Oscar and Ricky showed that he's a beast in these weight classes, so now the thought is void and he's fair game

See the difference now though is that Pac is going up 1 weight division instead of 2. He's the lineal champ at 140 so it doesn't look as bad as Oscar's.

In a way it can be hypocritical of him, but it depends on how you see it.
