I have to agree with Mr. Cotto. Why are we accepting this fight? We already know the outcome. Showtime should put on a good boxing card the same night. I would watch the showtime card, and wait the following week to watch the de la hoya card for free. Instead of paying $50. HBO is forcing boxing fans to watch because they know there are no other boxing show on the same night with any names. That's upsets me a little... Just my thoughts.

when you become a fan.. a biased fan... and cant see with out emotions the fights makes you act like that... some times.. you get just 2 serious about it...

i used to be like that... like everyone else.. had in their life.. at least thats how i think...

My dream end with Hopkins beating Tito.... by that time .. not even TYSON could ko tito for me...

thats why i Love & hate hopkins so much... he woke me into reality...

BTW props to cotto for speaking up! reality is everyone knows he's right, my casual buddy (mma fan) told me the other day "boxing is a joke, last year dlh fights a small guy and puts us to sleep, now he's fighting a smaller guy and hoping he knocks him out to make up for the boring ass floyd fight" I responded with dlh is a *****, liar, and only out to make money. He does not respresent boxing, he represents money. For crying out loud his boss doesn't know **** about boxing he's an over seas banker that is taking care of the finicial part of the business he knows nothing about boxing. I also went on to say there has been many great fights the last two years that casuals wouldn't know about because they don't watch boxing enough. fuck you Oscar!

Cotto also isn't the only one who feels this way.. many people do. Obviously they must have asked him about it because he doesn't go out of his way to comment on things but since they asked him and he replied you can't blame him for his reply. I would have said the same thing.
