B-Hop should not retire. Usually fighterz get beaten bad before they deicide to retire...why retire when you have the capabilities of defeating the likez of Chad, Calzaghe? That wouldn't make sense to me. Roach is the worst person to have on B-Hop's corner. Roach felt that B-Hop couldn't pull the trigger and was gonna get hurt bad against Pavlik. Roach only lowerz B-Hop's confident and I truly dislike that about him. Nazeem Richardson on the other hand screams at/ pushes B-Hop! As if B-Hop were a young 20+ year old. Thatz the kind of dude B-Hop needz in his corner and I will say with confidence...B-Hop will defeat Calzaghe with Richardson in his corner. If the fight happenz again

Calzaghe has ****ed up hands hows he supposed to hit hard like years ago.lol you delusional clown, who said Hopkins ducked Calzaghe? slappy himself? you believe everything that goof says. Too Afraid to fight a Prime Calzaghe? what are you asking to get owned?, Hopkins was 43 when he called out Calzaghe....i'm pretty sure he'd be worrying about himself.
Yes Bowe is a ducker, I'm aware, he ducked Lewis by vacating the title. I don't think he's the greatest heavyweight of the generation. BTW, did you end up downloading the Hopkins Zaghe fight? did you spot any stray slaps that landed flush?Comment

Of course I agree, had Bernard had Naazim working the corner back in April nobody would be talking about Calzaghe right now. Not because Bernard would've dropped him off the face of the earth (like he did to Winky), but because Joe would likely retire in the event of losing his "0".B-Hop should not retire. He's stated it's the most important thing in the world to him, and to me that reeks of his own insecurities. You cannot accept winning if you cannot accept losing.
And with Richardson in 'Nard's corner, Calzaghe would be losing. Roach is a pretty negative coach unless your last name is Pacquiao or Vazquez. He was talking insane **** about Bernard on the Countdown "Oh I'm worried about him, he went to the wrong corner 4 times!", and what heppened? Bernard took care of business.
I don't think Roy or Joe wants a piece of Bernard at this stage of the game though. Joe I can understand, he barely got the decision the first time out, and that was a gassed out version of Bernard, not the newly energized version we saw Saturday night.
What I can't understand is Roy not wanting to fight Bernard. They used to hate each other but it's turned into a genuine mutual respect as they've gotten older, with each guy giving tremendous amounts of credit to the other. And Roy's been beating around the bush about the rematch since 2001.
If he doesn't fight him now, he's just scared in my opinion. I mean I can't think of any reason not to fight him.
He doesn't have amazing punching power, so Roy doesn't need to be gunshy.
He's not as fast as Roy, though he is a bit more crafty.
He's not an amazing volume puncher, or anything like that.
I mean hell it's an even fight, and a great rematch, even if it is a decade past it's expiration date.
But you and I oth know Bernard's got his number, Roy's aged a lot faster than he has.Comment

Yeah cos they stipulated in the contract for the first fight that Hopkins was forbidden from throwing combinations.
They also said Hopkins could throw a maximum of 5 punches per round. Hopkins agreed on the condition that he could have a clause in the contract which stated he could clinch and headbutt as much as he wanted.Comment
