Everyone knows that the most vicious knockouts are the ones u dont see coming(thats why when they wake up they ask "what kind of punch was it") hence a short punch is harder to see coming, therefore u have less time to brace or move with the punch. Long punch you brace for or move with it because u are more likely to see it coming IE Mayorga. But opinions may vary.
mmmmmmm ok dude whatever you say. Punches you don't see coming are punches thrown with speed, counters, and from different angles, but what the heck do i know.

      Cotto / Cintron !!

What a great way to start 2009. If Arum is serious about this fight for Cotto I say make it happen. I'd love to see the 2 former champs, both from Puerto Rico, help sort things out. Having both lost to Margarito, they should sort themselves out and then let the winner move on. I know on paper most would say that Cotto is the clear cut favorite, but I wouldn't bet against Cintron. His only losses have been to the same man who methodically wore down Cotto and ending up demolishing him in brutal fashion - Antonio Margarito. I hope Arum and DiBella can make this happen. I'm sure Cotto and Cintron would want the fight both being fighters who don't run away from a challenge. Make 09 a great year of fights and make this one happen!

        the rematch

I'm a fan of both Cotto and Margarito. Although Cotto is known to have "superior boxing abilities", which I concede that he does, he also tends to get roped into brawler mode. That is his main weakness (against Marg) and no offense to Cotto, he can't go toe to toe with Margarito. This fight was won by stoppage, not decision, through agression and body work. If you watch the fight again you can see that Margarito laid down his groundwork as early as the second round, in which he landed effectively to the body. From that point, he slowly and gradually broke down his opponent leading to subsequent TKO. It wasn't just brute force on the part of Margarito. I also have to underline that it was both Cotto who took two knees, and his corner that threw in the towel. Cotto just isn't a tap and run boxer who can bewilder Margarito. The best Cotto can hope for next time is a narrow points decision but I don't think that will happen, given his pride and will to trade shots. Margarito by stoppage in the rematch

19 of his 33 wins are against guys with HORRIBLE sub 500 records. the other 14 wins are against laughable opponents some bearly over 500 record wise. If jennings want's to be known and considered good he needs to come to the states and face some real competition instead of sittin in the uk and fighting nothing but below average boxers. Cotto would destroy jennings!

Cotto and Paul Williams are both running scared.

Give us a call when they locate their testicles.

Jennings makes Cotto quit like he did against Tony.

lol margarito has been a ww contender for years. You're obviously new to this sport. margarito has accomplished more than any other active ww. he has the best resume, he's fought the most top 10 opponents, he was a 9 year ww champion, he know a 3-TIME WW World Champion, he doesn't need your respect bro lol. Margarito is all but unproven at this point
