This is definitely not a surprise, he'll need the money sooner or later.

Floyd is retired. It is crazy how people are obsessed with this Man. I didn't read anywhere in that article where Floyd or a member of his team said he was returning. The Guy just turned down over 20 million a couple of months ago to fight a guy he had already beat.

Awesome, I'd love to see Floyd back in the ring. I just hope it isn't with any of his three most likely opponents.

Please come back Floyd and knock some sense into ODLH nonsense match up with Pacquiao. Ever since Floyd retired we have gotten nothing but garbage talk from ODLH.

                  ODLH
                  1. He announces he will retire the end of the year. (LIED)
                  2. He will consider fighting winner of Margarito vs. Cotto (No way in hell)
                  3. His fight with Pacquiao is going to be a huge blockbuster (Nope)
                  4. The Dec. 6 is what boxing needs (Hell no)
                  5. Pacquiao is a dangerous fighter and I must not overlook that (Pac is dangerous, but DLH size, reach, height is clearly to his advantage, again trying to hype this nonsense)

Floyd spoiled ODLH huge payday when retiring before their 2nd encounter. Now DLH gets desperate and fights a Lightweight. Damn......

It's very simple economics. His lifestyle is too expensive. He needs to get rid of the excess in his lifestyle and think about his children's future. If he spends up all the money now, his children will not have a prosperous future and he'll end up working for YMCA and McDonald's like Leon Spinks. He still has at least a few million in the bank. Heck, he could sell his expensive home, downgrade to something more affordable and live off the interest of his money alone.
