Until one of those mentioned lights the torch at the Opening Ceremonies at an Olympics, I got to go with Ali.

I know sugar ray robinson is the greatest boxer of all time but i doubt the average joe on the street will know who he is

              Muhammed Ali
              Mike Tyson
              Oscar De La Hoya
of all time??? or right now?

i think of all time its ali...people to this day who dont follow boxing at all know who ali is (well i've ran into some people who dont follow boxing but know ali)...

but then again many of those who dont follow boxing still know who mike tyson is...and oscar.

i'd have to say if you rate them in popularity its ali who is most popular with tyson following close behind and oscar is in 3rd.

              my opinion of course.

Ali went through a ton of media coverage during his time.

But, it's very close between Ali and Tyson.
