How do you beat Hopkins?

        meant bigger
        not taller
        at this point of their career bernard obviously packs more muscle and mass just look at the weight in
        a bigger guy should easily bully hopkins around the ring someone like adamek
        hopkins is a very smart man hes made a career out of beating smaller guys

            i take it that you still don't believe Bernard Hopkins is an all time great...or am i wrong?

              to beat hopkins you have to be an athletically inclined boxer.ala jones, and taylor.you have to have some natural ability.textbookers can't beat hop.he's to savvy for that ****.

                Hop lost to Roy mainly because of Roy's speed, Hop's youth, and also because of Roy's style. Roy was then like Hop is now in that they are mainly counter punchers who work off of you. So Roy sat back in that fight and played the matador, with that much speed Hop had major problems.

                He lost to Taylor for the same reason, Taylor's style and speed, youth and athleticism. Taylor sits back and fights to keep you off of him, thats why the Spinks fight was so ugly, two natural counter punchers fighting. To beat that type fighter you need good footwork and good feints so when you feint he thinks youre about to punch, then when he punches you counter off of him.

                Ive stated why he lost to Cal in another thread, there are ways to beat any fighter.

                      nah hopkins will get credit for beating up small guys he will probably be labelled as an atg
                      im only impressed by his ability to peak in his late 30s
