I remember seeing him get dropped by 1 punch in several fights, I would have to search through them to find the occurrences. They weren't his old fights but not his earliest either. What he would do is be slipping to the side each time, sort of turning away, and get caught right square in the jaw with a sort of looping cross and drop right to the mat.
After that concussion from Evander I noticed Tyson not keeping his left hand back far enough to protect his jaw when turning down and to the side. Left him very open.Last edited by dsstang25; 10-21-2008, 01:02 PM.Comment

Here is a short clip. You barely beat me to it

I'm sure I saw it at least one more time. So he was old there, I can see that happening. I don't know, every time I saw him get knocked out, he took it like a *****. At least in his prime fights, it was like he had no real experience with it and did not know what to do or how to react.Last edited by dsstang25; 10-21-2008, 01:15 PM.Comment

Teddy Atlas who used to train Tyson and now hates him said that while Tyson had a great chin, he never knew how to deal with punishment.Comment

Well no.When he was knocked down and out it was an accumulation of punches. His chin was not the problem.
The systematic beatdown that Lewis was probably the worst I've seen in a heavyweight fight.Comment
