Doesn't make sence if he is a true middleweight. Even the big Taylor stopped at 168.
More money at LHW maybe?? Also Tarver was champion Hopkins liked his chances and won the ring title.

Why did Pacman jumped 140 division to 147 is he scared of Hatton another limey champion WHAT A JOKE

You cant penalize a fighter for taking care of his body and fighting at a division where he is most effective.

Erik Morales could have been a four division champion
JLC could have been a Jr. Welterweight champion
Joan Guzman - couldaa wudda shudda

It's not Hopkins fault that he is such a disciplined freak!!

Hopkin "the natural middleweight" skipped 168 cause as you said it, "liked his chances" at 175 iow, he thought Tarver was the weaker fighter then Calzaghe. I agree seeing how Tarver had to lose a lot of weight.

Pac jumped to fight for the Money in a Delahoya fight.

Calzaghe is a big money maker in Europe, Hopkins could of made more money in Europe fighting Calzaghe then in America fighting Tarver, so dont make this a money issue with Hopkins.

Truth is Calzaghe in the past challenged Hopkins and Hopkins keep himself at middleweight.

Hopkins avoided 168 cause Calzaghe was at that weight class its the truth. I mean is Hopkins was such a natural middlweight he'd have stopped at 168 and test the waters there.

            about taking on smaller fighters

Glen Johnson and Antonio Tarver we're both one time the recognized best LIGHTHEAVYWEIGHT champion of the world. Hop beat both soundly.

Im not penalizing him. But why give him so much credit when he isn't even fighting the young guys at his weight class.

Just because his is old, he gets a pass to fighting the best little men around his weight class?

****, i know i can never be in the shape Hopkins is right now, either now or in the future at 43.

Again, if he would just fight Dawson and beat him. He'd shut me up. Don't just pick on these smaller men, Winky, Calzaghe, Pavlik. Even though if i was being realitic Calzaghe needed to move up in weight for awhile now.

He beat Glenn when they were at middleweight. Glenn can still give him problems but Hopkins would never fight him again thats why i say fight Dawson then continue to fight whomever he wants.

We know what happened with Tarver though i thought it was a close fight probably the only one.
