Despite being a fan, I can understand why some people dislike Calzaghe. What I don't understand though is how certain posters are so critical of what he is saying, and yet have sigs and avatars devoted to the boxers mentioned above, all of whom have a history of talking trash and being disrespectful about opponents.
I'm not keen on the kind of comments that Calzaghe has come out with about Pavlik. I'd also like to see Cal and Hop finally move on from their fight and stop making petty comments about each other.
I much preferred the way Hopkins acted in the buildup to the Pavlik fight to the way he acted towards Calzaghe. I think that Ali was out of order in how he behaved towards Joe Frazier. So to me, my views on this are consistent, but that doesn't seem to be true of everyone else.
