I didn't even bother scoring that fight, it was so hard to score IMO.

Honestly in retrospect, does it even matter now? as Lampley said, now that Hopkins has schooled Pavlik, he didn't just get a chance to win one, but FOUR fights lol.

Also, Calzaghe's in a huge fight with Roy, had a 24/7 for it, AND he's the co-promoter, so he's gunna make bank.

However I think if Hopkins will really come to Wales to fight him, and Joe doesn't take the fight, then he's chicken. I'm not even against Joe, I like him and all, but as of late, he's just seemed like a total douche: Saying stuff like "Nope, I'm not giving him a rematch, screw Hopkins" and also kicking Pavlik while he's down, with the whole "he was overhyped" ****, yes I understand your dad doesn't like Jack Loew, but kicking a man while he's down like that just isn't cool, its like shooting a guy in the balls as Cartman would say.

    ...Jones-Hopkins II anyone?

Nothing wrong with that. Thanks for posting your opinion without resorting to schoolyard remarks about Calzaghe.

Mac. Veit was his mandatory, I believe. That's why he was the only person to get a rematch. And Joe bet 10,000 on himself to KO Veit in the first round again.

If he didn't fight Veit again he would have been stripped of his title.

            I think Hopkins did enough.
What I will say about Calzaghe, is this. He has been acting a total ass lately
Saying something like screw Hopkins and Pavlik wasn't as great as everybody seems. Man is going around thinking that he is big ****. That is all I got to say about him

Calzaghe didn't duck a rematch with Reid.

Calzaghe had a mandatory defense straight afterwards, and then Reid lost another fight. It was hard to sell a rematch after that, especially after Reid publicly stated that he didn't deserve the decision.

As for the guy who started the thread...you are entitled to your opinion, but I doubt that you are unbiased. Notice that most Hopkins fans think that their guy deserved the win, and most Calzaghe fans think that their guy deserved did.

Almost all of us are biased in some way, even though we try not to be.

Well, it is hard not to understand it. He's tired of fighting. He's said it himself. There is nothing more likely to happen to a tired fighter than lose to an up and comer. That's how boxing works. It's great that he's honestly going to retire when he should.

As for the other stuff. What would you say to everyone who constantly said you're ducking the next undefeated big thing when you've already fought the main ones and beaten them? You're getting **** for not fighting some young guy who you know you can beat. Well, he just beat the guy who beat the **** out of the guy that was meant to beat you up. What the hell would you say apart from "See, I told you so!"

As to the thread starter: No, of course you're not biased Lil-Hopkins.

I just can't get over this **** that people say. So if Mayweather does it, it is cool because, well, he's undefeated and the P4P best and he can talk all he wants because no one can shut him up, but, if Calzonie says "Why the **** should I rematch that old bastard when he bitched and whined after he lost or fight Pavlik when he was overrated, over-hyped and just got the ****e kicked out of him by the guy I just beat!"

You probably enjoy it when Hopkins spews his bollocks, yet when some limey prick does it you have a good ol' fat yank whine. With a bit of perspective you guys would all realise you sound like a bunch of little biatches.
