Whats the point to this thread ??

Doesn't change the fact a 43 year old Hopkins took the 26 year old Pavlik to School.

Being schooled is being knocked out cold, or being at least knocked down once.

This isnt to take away from Hopkins win, just facts. Just comparing ages.
A lot of guys in prison can't always box well. I have seen a few of them on the heavy bag and they don't have any movement or coordination. I don't know about the guys Hopkins fought, but it's better he fight guys like this on the outside to gain that experience, you can't jump in there just yet with undefeated guys.

But really, whats the point of this thread? Look who he has beaten after...

Not to be a prick or anything, but that's definitely not the definition of being "schooled". When someone schools another fighter I always thought of it as effective counter punching, making the other guy miss, etc..

No, getting schooled is when you are dominated by your opponent from start to finish. That's what happened to Pavlik. Getting schooled is when you resort to red K when you have no counter point in a debate. Know anybody like that?
