No matter how many punches Calzaghe can throw, it will be nullified by the Smarts, Hand Speed, and Defense of Roy Jones. Roy Jones will be the bigger man that night and with his new "Turtle Shell defense" He will put himself in great position to counter calzaghe to the body and head when calzaghe jumps in head first throwing wild shots.

No way Calzaghe "outboxes" Roy Jones in the center of the ring. Calzaghes style is based of work rate consistency, Roy Jones is a power puncher in both hands & throws punches with serious intent everytime (but he picks his shots wisely)...this fight will go no more than 7 rounds. RJJ Ko

As long as Roy can throw more then 25-30 meaningful punches a round mixed with the jab he should win... This is defintely not PRIME ROY but, IF ROY was really as good as we thought... he should win this fight IMO, otherwise his career is a dibaccle to me he's been KOed twice and beaten 3 times in his last 6 and on Boxrec all that red looks bad so winning or loseing this fight lets us know if he is shot or not!
