It would be a moneymaker. If oscar can meet pacman, b hop can meet Floyd. They should do it!

idk. i thought hopkins won the first fight, and i really think calzaghe is overrated.......hopkins fights like he did tonight, he could beat calzaghe just about as bad as he beat pavlik....this **** is ridiculous, for a man this old (in terms of sports...)

but like i keep saying, if rjj takes care of calzaghe, i'd be just as happy.....

well, i mean hopkins would probably have to drop down to meet floyd in the area of 160 or so....being that hopkins is so old, it probably wouldn't be healthy for him to play around w/ his weight like that........

but like i said, those are my two fav's, the two best defensive fighters in the game, but i get a feeling if that fight happens, one of 'em would get a beating put on 'em. either floyd cuz he'd be too little, or hops cuz he'd be too slow....

anyway, i'm from detroit and i got family back there, floyd is from grand rapids i think, but one of my cousins told me floyd was on the radio a couple years back, talkin about how he'd beat "bernard's old ass!" so maybe the fight isn't as far fetched as it sounds.....

for me tho, i dont see it happening b/c of the weight issues. i hope it doesn't happen, cuz 1 of my boxing heroes gets beat like they've never been beat before.....idk which one...

This would make for a great story if Jones manages to beat Calzaghe!

Same. I don't want to say he is overated just that his style isn't what I like to watch. He did look good in beating Kessler/Lacy tough. Still I'd much rather see B-Hop vs Chad, AA, Kessler or RJJ rematch.

              Joe Calzaghe...

His 0 has got to go.

This is the year of the upsets and it continues.

Oh ****. I didn't know Floyd made a comment about Bernard like that. Well there we go, some reporter should ask Bernard what he would think about the fight. You know Floyd's trash talking would motivate Bernard. I think B hop would take him to school. I could see the 24/7 documentary now, Floyd playing heel (the bad guy), flashing his money around and disrespecting the elderly legend, while Bernard getting back to the basics and hitting the gym hard, talking spiritually, playing the face (Good guy). I would pay a hundred dollars on ppv to see these two go at it.

I'd love too see Bernard against either, although Jones preferably. Aside from whoever he fought in his 1st fight, Roy's the only guy to truly defeat Hopkins in a fight and the rematch would be great.
