Calzaghe nuthuggers don't want Pavlik to win tonight?

    I think so.

If Pavlik beats Hopkins (which he will) and does it more convincingly than Joe did (quite possible) , it takes away from Joe's best win (not for me but to most it's his best win).

    Thoughts?

Yes. They want Pavlik to lose because it'll take away from Joe's best win.

No. Joe Calzaghe's resume speaks for itself.

Well, it's only logical for any fan of a fighter to want the opponent their fighter beat, to go on after the fight and do well.

    Hope the wording made sense.

Not just Calzaghe fans, personally on that facebook boxbets I got money on a Pavlik KO.

Thoughts? Hopkins isn't Joe's best win. And as far as this fight goes, I didn't really think about Calzaghe at all.

obviously, they are lieing to themselves if they think Pavlik is overated, he would destroy Calzaghe..and he's going to beat Hopkins to...even if I am a bigger B-Hop fan and I want B-Hop to win.

Hopkins is the biggest name on Joe's resume, i wouldn't say it's his best win.

As for Pavilk, he needs to win this fight convincingly to have any hope of the Calzaghe fight happening.

nothing wrong with being a nuthugger. i nuthug quite a few fighters.

it's called being a fan of the sport.

you ain't a true fan of boxing unless there's fighters you love (tito) and fighters you hate ('nard).

on a side note. **** hopkins! viva tito trinidad!!!!!!

Well, not really but it's a "bet." you know, like it's a possible outcome, not that high probability, but could be interesting. I would never bet on that outcome if I was going for a "banker." (A safe bet)

Hopkins got tired out by Calzaghe's "Punches" and work rate, Pavlik has power, and although Hopkins has a great defense, maybe tiredness will creep in the late rounds.

I think Pavlik will definitely UD him though.

i doubt it. i think he retires after roy. (or maybe after tito? )

no money in fighting kelly or chad or anyone else at 160-175.
