The GREAT GAMA, the most famous wrestler in the world, used to do about 2,000 push ups each morning, along with many other calisthenics. He was only 5'7", and weighted about 200lbs of solid muscle. He wasxwrestling until a very adb]vanced age, was Never beaten, not even "for show" like the present crappers. It was beneath his dignity.
He was avoided by most of the top wrestlers, and the few top guys he managed to get into the ring he beat in mere seconds. Look him up on the internet, I remember that the RING did a long feature on him many years ago, which i hope I have around somewhere, which got me interested in him.
