I watched Frank Bruno once, doing about 200 or something. While he did his push ups, his trainer pressed his forehead down. I'd never seen it before, and almost fainted by how hard he worked to achieve success. Keep goin' with your training, I'll bet you make 200 if you go for it![/QUOTE]
The GREAT GAMA, the most famous wrestler in the world, used to do about 2,000 push ups each morning, along with many other calisthenics. He was only 5'7", and weighted about 200lbs of solid muscle. He wasxwrestling until a very adb]vanced age, was Never beaten, not even "for show" like the present crappers. It was beneath his dignity.
He was avoided by most of the top wrestlers, and the few top guys he managed to get into the ring he beat in mere seconds. Look him up on the internet, I remember that the RING did a long feature on him many years ago, which i hope I have around somewhere, which got me interested in him.

I could never do 200 straight even in my dreams.
) it's hard at times to know which is which. You talked about push ups, I answered by talking sit ups. edgarg made it right and spread wisdom by saying 'take it easy' with sit ups. I have my own, painful experience of not doing that.
