Maybe your right, in that case Vasquez should be getting the bigger purse. But I think before we even talk about this fight he should square off with Marquez.

Yeah they fought in Vegas. which was a neutral zone. Im not sure if you went to the fight but if you did, I'm pretty sure you saw it was about even in support for both fighters. If Cotto would have fought Margarito in Los Angeles then maybe I would say Otherwise.

I can't imagine a world where the fight gets made and Vazquez does not get the bigger purse.

I think he should fight the 2 out of these 3: winner of Caballero-Molitor, Marquez and Johnny Gonzalez. THEN he can go after Vazquez. No need to rush it.

vegas is still in the west, and ther are more mexican fans than puertorrican fans. you saying vegas is neutral, is like me saying atlantic city is neutral to.

Marquez would be a tougher fight than Vazquez for Juanma

I would like to see Juanma facing Marquez first. Marquez is one of my favorites active fighters. I really think Marquez could be more problematic than Vasquez to beat. Regardless I think Juanma will beat both of them, in part due to how spent they should be after that trilogy.

If you went to the fight you would have seen it was even support for both fighthers since at that point Cotto was the bigger name. I can't think how thats going to happen in either NY or Atlantic city for Vasquez. But If he gets the money right then so be it. I agree with everyone on here on the fact he should fight other 122 lbs before talking about vasquez.

The only reason why I say Marquez is because he lost agaisnt vasquez. But I'm not saying that it will be any easier. I might Agree with you guys that Marquez style might be more difficult for Juan Manuel.

You should be his promoter, it's really a good idea.
