Lopez looks too good for Izzy i think. Especially after his trilogy with Marquez.

I keep saying that...is not that Vazquez sucks but his 3 wars with Marquez had to take something out of him. I think Lopez would be too much for Penalosa, Vazquez and Marquez.

Truth is the Lopez camp simply can not afford a big fight for Lopez and the opportunity for him to build his name dec 6 is like free advertising. The non-boxing fans who see Medina's 33-1 record will think hes good, Juanma KOs him, and then calls out Vazquez. He then will fight Marquez,Gonzalez,or Caballero/Molitor in March to build up for the fight.

Personally, of the candidates he had, I think Poonsawat Kratingdaenggym(36-1,25 KO) would have been the best. He is rated #6 by boxrec.com, beat Cordoba(who yes, did take out Caballero), and has never been KOed. His one loss came 12 rds to a guy who was undefeated at the time. This fight could be afforded and is a lot more interesting than Medina. He could have stretched Juanma out which would be greta practice for March.
