SCULLY,
Do you think PAC has an inside shot at beating Floyd?
And, who do you think would be more competitive against Floyd, PAC or Cotto?
As always, thanks champ.
Oh, BTW, we are curious if you know who Snuff Armstrong is, we're not asking you to reveal his identity(i'd be cool though, lol), but do you know his real identity?

Not sure who SNUFF IS...Is he a poster on this board do you mean??? Does he say he is a fighter?
I think Pac may give Floyd more trouble to be honest because of his size and his "smallness"...he's unafraid, very fast with his punch release and with his body movements...fights smart fights...fast movement will make it tough for a bigger man to really pin him down (think Shaun George-Chris Byrd kind of in that Byrd was used to fighting MUCH bigger men and when he came down to fight a fleet footed, fast punching light heavy he had no answers, he was CLEARLY bothered by the body and punch speed difference...) not that Pac will beat him, havent made up my mind yet, but I think he presents much more problems stylistically than Cotto does.

And I recalled seeing him interviewed on TV and I knew what type of guy he REALLY was...and I kept thinking to myself (and I put this in my book, I used to wonder what he would say when he read it), "Look, man, I've been sitting in the steam room for fourteen days in a row, I just got out of the one down the hall five minutes ago. I havent eaten in three days. I weighed twelve pounds more than I do right now about three days ago. So you can save the tough guy act for someone else, OK? I mean...you're a MAILMAN!!!
RIP, T.T.
James Toney recently talked opposition and named T.T. the toughest fighter he ever fought. That says a lot.

As far as PAC, yeah, I also think that PAC would be more of a challenge for Floyd due to his speed. But, PAC really sucks at cutting off the ring.
I got a chance to see PAC train at WCG when they use to allow the public in. One thing I did not observe when watching PAC on t.v., is just how "elusive" he is. Not necessarily on the same mold of elusive such as Pernell/Floyd, but, PAC in that ring is like chasing a mouse, he has no pattern, he's all over the place.
I think, PAC, in a way, should flip the script on Floyd and have Floyd find him with his jab. what do you think.
The thing with Floyd, is that he's an in-the-pocket kinda guy, so, eventhough he's got great foot speed, I wanna see how he would do, if the tables were turned on him. Kinda like how Barrera did to Naz(MAB did it with his jab), but I think PAC could do it with his zig-zag, in-out movement.Last edited by We want Floyd; 09-21-2009, 09:24 PM.

Yea, man, it is MUCH tougher IMO to box a much smaller faster oppnent than it is to fight a bigger man or equal sized guy...even now I have more trouble sparring really good featherweights that I do good middle sor light heavies...

But, there was that one time, that my coach took me to another gym, and had me spar with this kid, who for once was smaller than I was. At first, I was thinking cool, I get to play the role of the boxer. But, that lil f**ker was dippin' dodgin' moving left-right, the first few rounds felt like I had two left feet.
What the kid was doin' was nothin' new, but, the movement, speed and the target was much smaller.
