And Tyson took a beating for ten like a man from an athlete who'd been around the sport his whole life and put together a once in a lifetime performance...even scored a knockdown...Wlad just fell out against Purrity and Brewster and was bombed by fat Sanders. If it came down to chin, even the most ardent Wlad fan can't pick against Tyson with a straight face.

The Purity and Brewster fights aside (Wlad just punched himself out in both cases, was administering a sound beating until he gassed), Sanders was in probably the best shape of his career when he stepped into the ring against Wlad. On top of that, he was probably the most dangerous heavyweight within about a 4 year period there. Unpredictable, certainly, but extremely dangerous. The guy has Foreman-type power in his left, hands that would be fast on a guy half his size, and buddy, he had a beard. I've said it many times....if he'd been dedicated at all to the sport, and bothered to train seriously, he could've easily ruled the division, and I'd have picked a well trained and conditioned Sanders over Lewis without hesitation.

In order to beat Mike Tyson, you need 5 basic criteria:

1: durable chin: Tyson is going to land strong shots no matter how tight your defense is.

2: good defense: a fighter has to limit the volume of big shots he takes

3: enough power: a fighter has to keep Tyson honest

4: endurance: take Tyson into the later rounds when his power is diminished

5: confidence: Tyson never beat a guy that was unafraid

Klits may have criteria 3 & 4, but not 1,2 & 5

Klits would be overwhelmed almost immediately, without the chin and defense to remain upright. He matches up better against less aggressive, less powerful fighters in which he can find ways to beat. He doesn't have a swiss-army-knife of boxing tools to cope with different situations against different fighters.

I think this is a VERY good assesment. What's left to be said? Tyson wins.

Douglas was fully recovered from a KD when the referee counting very slowly just to let Douglas recover, and when Tyson was the one KD the referee count too fast that's why Tyson lose the fight. a simple rob during that time.
