This had nothing to do with race at all, Lewis was dislike for his style (Jab Jab jab) for so long because of what tyson did at HW, If you didnt have the tyson fight style then it was difficult for people to get excited about you at Heavyweight.

Just look at the excitement that was generated when David tua was on the scene because of his tyson-like fighting style.

I didn't vote in his poll because of the way it's worded, but YES, much of the negativity toward the Eastern European fighters and the heavyweight division is racially motivated.

If Wlad and Vitali were black and American, but otherwise the same (records, titles, KOs, PhDs and all) they would be on the cover of half the magazines in America, and people like Natas would worship them!

If Vitali and Wlad were products of black America do you think people like ya self and WLAD OWNS would be fans of theirs? If Joe Calzaghe was a black American, do you think you guys would love him so much? If all those guys I mentioned were black I still would feel how I feel about them! If B-Hop was a white boy from Philly who had to take the hard road to glory....I would still be a fan!
