Exactly. God only knows what kind of beating Lewis would have given him had he still been on top of his game. LORD HAVE MERCY!!!

Why would you need to see the score cards? Lewis landed the harder, cleaner more damaging punches. Do you know how I know this? Because Vitaly's face was hamburger at the time he was TKO'd.

If you are trying to hit someone and you actually do it, what is lucky about that? If Vitaly's defense were better he might not have had his face butchered. As it stands, it his own fault he lost because he couldn't get out of the way of those punches causing the damage.

Then again who knows 25 mil is alot but seriously, I know Vitali has a hard on for him but does he really think it'll increase his legacy beating such an old Lewis? He already beat him in most fans' eyes so why does he have to do it again.
I would agree with you but put yourself on Vitali's shoes. After seeing Joe Calzaghe elevated to ATG status after defeating 43 year old Bernard Hopkins he might think this fight still has some meaning. Boxing has hit new lows and seeing people like Forest, Tarver, Hopkins, Hollyfield, Mosley and many more late 30's early 40 year olds still fighting i just won't put on any bets Lewis doesn't return. Don't get me wrong, i do hope he doesn't! I just won't be amazed if he does.

And ironically Lewis was 37 or 38 when that fight happened. The same age Vitali is now. To be honest i didn't think Vitali could make a comeback at 37 but vs Peter well... Anyway he still gets allot of credit because he was the first to stop Peter.
A good question would be however: How would 37 year old Vitali perform against a YOUNG Lewis? I think one can make a pretty good assumption based on how the 37-38 year old Lewis performed against YOUNG Vitali.

The further we get away from 2003 the better Lewis looks in that fight.

Lewis managed to fend off a PRIME-Klitschko. Its a testament to how much better fighters were back then.
