Tarver has been shot for years now. His style of "Jab and wait for the big shot" has been his worst enemy. That type of boxing only works with guys with weak chins or lack of experience. Taver needs to hang it up and look for another profession. Rematch with Dawson...who wants to see that?? The rematch (if it happens) will result in the same outcome. Either a large win on points for Dawson or perhaps a KO.

P.S.
Most of the damage to Vitali's lip, the cuts under his eye, and the worsening of the cut over his left brow, was caused by Lewis' head/hair. The initial cut was caused by a right hand that bounced across Vitali's brow, with the edge of the laces catching the brow and ripping it open. That's why the cut was so bad. The stoppage was still legit, because it was opened by a punch, whatever other circumstances may or may not have existed.

wrong dumbass. vitali was able to continue and wanted to continue. the fight was stopped because lewis put vitali's doctor in the position where he would get sued and fired if anything bad happened is what you should have said.

Your a funny guy my man prime 5 years ago...He was 37 when he fought Tyson in 2002 and he was old and past his prime then..Lewis was a great Champion and the last reconized Undisputed HW CHamp. I watched the fight and all though I thought Vitali was coming on and Lewis might have been beaten had the fight continued it is what it is and Lewis opened his face up and the reff stopped the fight. That was a NASTY cut and I agreed with the stoppage although i was mad that the fight had been stopped. Besides any man like yourself that has his heart set on defending a man with the nick name KILT is aces in my book so mush on soldier. No the majority know that Lewis won on a technicality in a fight he was being destroyed in. And the majority KNOW that he had promised Klit a rematch but ran into retirement because he knew he lost and Klit would embarrass him a 2nd time.
