It doesn't matter who beat who. Beating Kessler at this stage is better than beating Johnson at this stage, and I'm pretty sure the majority would agree.

Edging out a win against B Hop > edging out a win against Johnson.

Beating down Kessler > beating down Tarver. If you want to put it that way.

My question is, would YOU rank Abraham or Kessler above Chad on the p4p list?
Nope, but I'd probably have to do a lb 4 lb top 15 or so to even include Dawson. I think Dawson has a good chance to make it at some point.

Tarver and Johnson are old, and Adamek isn't quite an elite fighter.

Cintron, and Clottey are all prime age fighters, Cotto was an elite prime age fighter. Pavlik twice beat an prime elite fighter, Taylor.

Dawson ducked Diaconu several times - lets see if he will fight a younger man like Henry, Diaconu, Shumenov, or Cloud.

I disagree, completely. Why would it be better?

Kessler was undefeated and in his prime. He held the other belts in the division. It was for the unified belt. Calzaghe won 9 rounds on my card, while Dawson edged out the Johnson fight by a round I thought.

Being undefeated doesn't make you better. Who you beat makes you better. You guys pay too much attention to records. List the top five greatest fighters of all time and they all have plenty of losses. You fight the best, you're guaranteed to lose once.

Mikkel Kessler's resume is not on par with Glen Johnson's. Period.

Interesting how that all turned out. Calz had no problem getting into the ring with Kessler, but avoids Johnson twice.

Irrespective of age, Tarver is a better fighter than Cintron. PERIOD. Just better.

Adamek is not elite...but Clottey is??!!

And be sure to factor in Margarito's loss. Yes, losses go on resumes, also....not just wins.
