How the *** was Dawson boring?

he was great. i would have liked a little more agression because i think he could have hurt tarver more, but great performance nonetheless.

See thats the thing, Im not saying Dawson didnt look damn good. Cause he did. He looked like a totally different fighter from the Johnson fight. Im just saying I didnt really enjoy the fight.

I agree. You can point out what you like about the guy, while the other guy points out what he doesnt like. But when people say things like "you're not a real boxing fan if you dont a particular fighter entertaining", then that's just idiotic.

he's not that much different from that fight he did the same stuff. styles makes fights as they say and johnson is pressure fighter. tarver is a boxer so how ppl came to the conclusion from the johnson fight that tarver could win is beyond me. tarver looked the same against woods too just that woods was just that much worse.

2501 is basically saying that he cant understand how someone can find Dawson's performance tonight boring.

Yes he is saying that and I'm saying that as well. Sorry we all can't be as politically correct as you and respect other peoples opinions regarding everything.

Goes back to my main point. It's a message board, it's why it's here for. If you got an opinion that differs from 98% of everybody elses, you will get called out on it forcefully. Nobody will respect your opinion because it's your preferance and move on. That's just how it goes.

Dawson fought aggressively tonight and was throwing fast combinations, so he was definitely not boring. And he was going for the KO in the late rounds, even though he knew he was way ahead on the scorecards.

I thought the fight was O.K noting special. Dawson didn't look any better then before...his accuracy wasn't good. Honestly, I thought he won on workrate alone. I'm ATLEAST happy that Tarver continued to fight and didn't get discouraged by Dawson's style, like the B-Hop fight.

That's a reasonable recap. Not everything is either great or terrible.
