For me that was a highlight. Blatantly conserve energy AND get inside the opponents head simultaneously? Pretty damn smart if you ask me. Chad toyed with Tarver, and the break he took in the middle was the icing on the cake.

I guess is is pretty humiliating to know that the only two rounds you won in the fight were because your opponent let you win. It's a good thing Tarver didn't have anything on his punches because it could have backfired badly.

Much better fight than Tarver - Woods and that was in April. So that should get your vote for worst fight,lol.

a lot of boxing pundits pointed to the woods/tarver fight when hyping up tarvers chances against dawson.
man, woods was an imp and only showed up for a paycheck. a midget would have looked good against him!in the post fight interview of the woods fight the commentators could hardly contain themselves with all the narcisstic bull tarver was spouting.

when i heard tarver was training at home for the dawson fight that raised flags to me.
