While Peter was clearly outboxed and beaten it didn't seem like he was badly hurt at any point in the fight. Certainly not hurt enough to quit on his stool. It makes me wonder if he called it a night so he wouldn't have to be embarrassed listening to Jimmy Lennon read a whitewash on the cards.

Seems like the last 10 years or so, the division has become a hiding place for guys who don't want to spend much time in the gym, but still want a paycheck. Again, not all, just some, but enough that it hurts the sport.
I alsom agree with your lack of concern for a "Universal Champ" We have BETTER than that.......
we have TWO Universal Champs..
