Hatton is a much better 140lb fighter than Cotto. Cotto had to be carried out of the weigh in for the Malignaggi fight because he was so drained. You could see he was sluggish and slow in his performance, at one point Paulie even stunned him with a right hand! Hatton is quicker, will cut down the ring more efficiently than Cotto did and put much more pressure on Paulie than Cotto did.
I don't think hatton will stop paulie. i'm not sure that this current version of hatton is better than the version of cotto that paulie fought.

Chill Winston, I was hardly throwing hate at the guy, was merely a post on a forum about a boxers comments, not personal. I like Paul and he's a good fighter, your being wildly over sensitive.

I say worser things of boxers I'm major fans of lol. It's a forum mate!

I'm hoping for a good fight but think Hattons going to take this relatively easily, just a gut feeling. Mayweathers been on Hattons TV program in the UK lately live, and christ how many drugs has that guy taken, he can barely string a sentence together. No wonder he's going on about slowing Ricky down. Ricky's always waiting for him to finish an instruction.

Needless to say I still have concerns about the efficiency of Hattons training, hopefully the 2nd trainer is involved a lot and their not undermining each other too much, otherwise you'll see a Khan esk confused fighter in there.
one thing he's going to do is get Ricky fit and I think fitness has been a problem for Hatton in his last few fights. Hatton has said already he's never been in this a shape 5 weeks out from a fight.

malignaggi better be ready to move a whole 12 rounds because he won't be able to keep hatton or anyone with pressure off of him, not with his punching power.

that and it's more than just talent that wins fights, malignaggi knows that, i don't know why he's even coming across like that but whatever sells right.

anywho, i do think that malignaggi can win this fight, but i think that he will have to fight like how he did against cotto, lots of footwork, use the jab constantly, and don't backed up on to the ropes.

hattons rough and tumble style could be a lot of trouble for malignaggi, even with a tattered confidence, i say that because he looked fairly shaky against lazcano, but hatton has nothing to worry about as far as malignaggi's punching power, so he can walk through whatever he throws.

i'm pulling for hatton in this one, i think that unless maliganaggi runs and doesn't avoids any kind of trading action, hattons wins the fight easily, but if malignaggi uses the whole ring with a good working jab, and uses angles, hatton is in for a long night having to deal with malignaggi's mosquito bite type punches, which although don't hurt, they are very annoying..........

i'm looking for hatton to pull out a SD over malignaggi, i don't think that hatton will be able to knockout malignaggi, if cotto couldn't do it, i don't think hatton can............

hatton by SD, but don't be surprised if malignaggi gets the nod........

Yer I didn't see your 2nd sentence was quoting someone else, may bad man sorry.

I think a change in training and style, to improve defence and be more polished is good timing. I think we should see a better Hatton that will win. I just fear he might also be confused at points, less instinctive. Especially with Mayweather, I can see him picking up a few new habits or bad things with Floyd's confusing descriptions.
