Mayweather's chin hasn't really been tested, he got caught by Judah and he went down, it was ruled a slip, he got caught by Corley and got stunned, what would happen if a middleweight hit him?
yeah true hearns was a freakish puncher and duran had a great chin i know

the whole "what if a middleweight hit him" argument doesnt make sense

duran was dropped and stunned by de jesus at 135, and he still took shots at middleweight

so what if floyd was hurt at 140, he would get accustomed to harder shots as he moved up and the extra strength and weight he would gain goin up to MW might even help his chin too

Duran proved he could take a punch at 160, Mayweather hasn't proved he can take a good shot at 147, it's hard to say if he can take a punch and come back at 160.

Oscar at 154, I think Mayweather proved his chin is very good.

DLH didn't manage to hit him flush all that much and the shots that he did land was when Mayweather was either leaning back or partially blocked which takes away some power from the shots. I'm not saying his chin is glass.

nah, he is not strong enough, or big enough to keep the big me's off. he could beat sturm most likely, but not pavlik, or abraham imo.

Yup. Plus, Floyd was stunned from an Oscar right, which is NOT known as his power punch.

Man size aint ****, its more aboout skill, awarness and mentality, more then weight.. If floyd could go up there with the right mindset, like im gonna beat this guy with speed a defens3 rather then KOin a motha**** etc.. **** thats how he works now i thik Floyd would be succsesful in any divison 140-160.. now he might have lost a few times but he would still been succsesful
