Best straight left of all time

One thing is that I watched tapes of him, saw his straight left, his good countering ability, so I made sure to keep my hands up at all times, stay focused, and try to pick my shots to punch when he wasnt ready for it. I outlanded him, yes, and he was very busy in there. Good fight overall i thought

I don't ever score, I was just criticizing the fact that the closest scorecard was 18-10... that was ridiculous.

To tell u the truth, I dont think I have ever watched that fight all the way through, from 1 to 12. But even if I had I dont have the patience to actually score fights. I know that when it was over and we were waiting, I was thinking it was going to be a draw or a one or two point fight either way. It's hard to tell though when u are IN a fight...how it FEELS and how it LOOKS arent always the same thing

That's why I'm always so confused when people throw a fit after the fight when they think they should have gotten a 115-113 decision... like Taylor-Wright. Anyone who is in a fight should not ever be certain that they won 7 rounds beyond a shadow of a doubt.

I agree with this. Plus some may NOT agree but after watching almost every Pernell Whitaker fight I've learned that Whitaker's body punches were his best weapon.
