yeah im not saying yuriorkis will be expowned ala khan.......his chin is much better.....and his speed is better...and his power is much better.......i have a problem with him olding is head so ****ing high.......its not even the low hands, its just his head is huge and on top of it, he doesnt tuck it in.....with a guy with sufficient hand speed, reach and power that spells trouble...

You are wrong. Every time Gamboa has looked even remotely bad, it has been because he is trying to please his trainers.

Gamboa is at his best fighting like Gamboa, they are ****ing with his style and I don't like it.

Gamboa has THE best legs in boxing, the best combinations in boxing, the best head movement in boxing, he needs a team that will help him work with what he has. Trying to change his style is not good for him.

Bottom line, Gamboa is the real deal.

However, I would like to see him move down in weight.

At first (for like thirty seconds when I saw him) I though he was like a young Shane Mosley. But that's nonsense at after a full minute it became clear he couldn't carry a young Mosley's jockstrap.
exactly, ive always thought gamboa is a poor mans shane mosley....

Yeah and those two times in the past was him partially off balance, the punch gave him the "push" down. But tonight he was hurt, mainly from the elbow, but believe me he felt Ramirez's power. I hope he came make some adjustments, because I know his promoters are strict.

I think "poor man's" is too much. He has tremendous talent, but he doesn't have the discipline to go along with it.

whats wrong with you guys? He may not be future p4p #1, but the guy is exciting as hell to watch, and hes probebly going to win a title. How can he not with that kind of speed and power?

and even if he gets khaned in the future, thats fine. itll be fun to watch.

yall need to learn to enjoy boxing on its own, not being 'right' about boxing.

Notice Max and Lampley are not riding him anymore? They will pull him from the headlines, because the Khan-job is inevitable at this point.
Im sure you had that same feeling about Aaron Pryor right? Thats who Gamboa reminded me of tonight. The way he went down got back up, and was going back after him before the ref could jump in to give him a count.
