    quite the opposite...

what he and most others saw was a slowwwwwww Angulo and Tsurkan... Vanes' speed/footwork and more sound boxing technique outclasses Angulo.

before this fight i actually thought more of Angulo, but im now convinced that while he is a decent prospect, he isnt nearly as special as most have made him out to be.

It was a good impressive win for Angulo.
Come on Wlad Feliciano has an iron chin and what else? Like I said Tsurkan is a warrior, but he should not be boxing. Absolutely no defense, probably the most feather fisted guy I have EVER seen, Malinaggi is his rival there. Angulo proved absolutely nothing about his skills in this fight. ABSOLUTELY NOTHING. Solid win, but like I said many times before, a technical boxer with speed, good defense and average power beats Angulo 8-10.

I respect your opinion boot, but if vanes and angulo fought today, how is angulo better then vanes?
        1.power: about even
2.defense: what i saw from angulo against tsurkan, he has none(maybe because tsurkan can't hit worh a damn)
3.speed: don't let me get started on that
        4: boxer/technician: vanes
        5:better chin: angulo
        workrate:even
        6:experience: vanes
7:better comp: even, I don't buy angulo having the better resume
So to be honest, it is like 75-25 vanes comes out the winner in probably a split decision

Do you guys wonder why no pure boxer has been up against Angulo??? Angulo is easily beatable by a boxer with BOXING SKILL and Shaw will never put him against a Technical Boxer with more boxing talent... the name that comes to mind is uhhhh.... Vanes!!! all you idiots that are jumping on the Angulo bandwagon will fall off next year... Angulo can't get away with his style too much longer... he is slow, he is slow and he is slow a little more... no footwork whatsoever... Vanes will embarrassingly outbox this clown and therefore Angulo will never take the fight.
Man, Vanes isn't exactly what you'd call a stunningly brilliant, technical boxer. He is just average. He isn't Spinks for example. Anyway, I don't think any of the JMW prospects are that good to be honest. They're either defenseless brawlers, which is exciting or decently talented boxers.

The fights I've seen of Vanes he hasn't really shown anything particularly special. He's not really fast, powerful, skilled, great defense, etc ... He's good, but not great.

22 year old prospects are usually good... not yet great

and no Vanes isn't a brilliant technical boxer... yet.

with that said, he is still a far better boxer than Angulo who showed to be a slow brawler with great work ethic that will keep comin at you.

lol You could obviously tell Angulo knew before hand he was gettin a easy fight. Alfredo came in with a soft body and wasn't even loose like he normally is. And he only dug in into his punches like once a round for the first 4 or 5 rounds. He just took it easy all night, until later in the fight when he just started leanin into the guy.

Vanes is good, lol But I don't think he'll be able to stand for a full 12 against Angulo or Kirkland. I mean Vanes hasn't got a big body to fight against yet, has he? I don't see him able to take some accurate hard shots from either Angulo or Kirkland.

But I want to see Alfredo in with Vanes and Daniel Santos before a fight with Kirkland.

Kirkland to me is the worst out of the 3 IMO... most likely to get exposed BADLY

not sure why people ride him so high.

angulo was fighting a slow ass punching bag.
tsurkan was slow as ****.angulo looked like **** as opposed to his last fight to me.
tsurkan might as well been a punching bag.
