i don't know what you guys were watching, but I was at the fight and Angulo doesn't look all that impressive. slow, methodical, yes he does power, but stands no chance against a much quicker, taller, better talented, better boxer Vanes. I give Angulo credit, watching both men fight, Vanes is above and beyond Perro. Vanes will outbox and outclass Perro whenever this bout comes up and all you Vanes haters that haver never seen him can shut the **** up!!!

Tsurkan has great heart and I respect him for that. Other then what I mentioned, he is a horrible fighter, and to be honest any 154 pound prospect with beat him. Slow as hell, feather fisted, horrible movement, absolutely no defense. Again all my respect to him, but it was not a showing which impressed me with Angulo.

Tsurkan is a solid fighter!!!!... Angulo just made him look bad. you say that any other 154 prospect would beat him, well the only other two highly recognized prospects are Kirkland and Vanes. while it may be true that they would win against Tsurkan, i really doubt that they would be nearly as impressive as Angulo in doing so. ****, Kirkland would probably get cought several times with his defenseless style and Vanes had a very tough time in his last fight against a nobody!!!.. and sure, some of you might argue that he was undefeated but its easy to stay undeafeted when u fight bums!

I give Angulo's handlers a lot of credit. Everyone of the fights he has won recently have been against brawlers and you can't brawl with Angulo...Gutierrez, Cortes, or Tsurkan are not boxers with any boxing skill and Angulo looks great against them. Do you guys wonder why no pure boxer has been up against Angulo??? Angulo is easily beatable by a boxer with BOXING SKILL and Shaw will never put him against a Technical Boxer with more boxing talent... the name that comes to mind is uhhhh.... Vanes!!! all you idiots that are jumping on the Angulo bandwagon will fall off next year... Angulo can't get away with his style too much longer... he is slow, he is slow and he is slow a little more... no footwork whatsoever... Vanes will embarrassingly outbox this clown and therefore Angulo will never take the fight.

Tsurkan is a solid tough as nails experienced fighter and he can punch...he TKO'd the iron chinned Jesse Feliciano in his previous fight.

It was a good impressive win for Angulo.

                    i agree completely...

very slow, perhaps too slow for Vanes...

I just liked his workrate and punch output, but like you say, a technically sound BOXER would beat Angulo's brawler style...

while Vanes has some more work to become that TRUE boxer, he is still ahead of Angulo by a mile... now if they decide to just trade and brawl... at that point its 50/50 considering both have decent power....

if Vanes uses his height/speed/footwork, well then he just boxes circles around Angulo for a pretty easy decision.. as he did against Medina who was alottttt better than anyone here has ever given him credit for
