    i gotta agree bro...

without being biased at all... Angulo simply looked SLOW along with Tsurkan, i expected a bit more from both sitting ringside at that fight.

Vanes' speed and power could very well overwhelm Angulo.

i must admit though Angulo is much more calm and collected and looks more like a pro fighter out of the two...
but raw talent/speed/power... after seein that last fight, hands down id go with Vanes

Angulo must have big hands. He's slow as hell, but when he hits his opponent one could visibly see the damage being done.

credit alot of that to good HBO camera work and was it just me or did Lampley and the rest of them make farrrrr tooo much out of the supposed "beating" of Tsurkan.

i mean the kid was dominated, but when has it been soooooo bad to show heart, stay on your feet and tough it out...

Angulo would kill Vanes right now, thats my opinion and I'm sticking to it.

Until Vanes fights someone in the top 50 on Boxrec it will be hard to take him serious, I think Tsurkan would have beaten Vanes last night.

Charles Howe, Vanes next opponent is currently rated 147/894.

dude.. of all rankings.. now you are gonna go with BoxRec rankins????

get a grip bro, let go of the hatred, talk some real talk...
what exactly was it that impressed you soooo much about Angulo?

his speed more than anything else will cost him a fight against Vanes, plain and simple.

and if you are so bigggg on rankings... Medina who Vanes just beat by UD10 was ranked #25 by the WBC... better than boxrec for ya??

if they brawl, then maybe Angulo has the edge slightly... if not, Vanes easily outboxes him in my opinion.

and to be honest, Medina brought alot more than Tsurkan did, more power, height, reach, speed... just watch the fights and compare... **** the rankings and fame

I use Ring rankings but that only does top 10, I will take Boxrec any day over those corrupt alphabet soup rankings.

What hate?? All I said was Angulo would smash Vanes, just because I think a fighter will beat another that's automatically hate??

I'm impressed about the way Angulo has beaten some pretty good top 25 fighters with only 14 fights under his belt, he has shown a good chin and has passed the test when a fighter is not just there to lose or has little shot.
                .

WBC rankings mean ****, Vanes hasn't fought anyone with with a half decent shot at making it a competitive fight.

Tsurkan was a ranked fighter who has fought other ranked fighters and fared well, Medina was a club fighter with a blown up record.

It will be hard for you to find where I have been biased to certain fighters. I am a fan of boxing and tell it the way I see it.

i dont care for ABC belt rankings much either.... but BoxRec man??? thats gotta be the worse of them all considering there is no human factor in it and its all configured mathematically after data is entered into the system.

and you talk about smashing... how though?? tell me... is it Angulo's power that dominates Vanes so much, his boxing ability, speed?? cuz i just dont see it...

i just see a guy with great work ethic, heart, and lots of composure... but raw talent and speed are missing quite a bit in comparison with Vanes.

Angulo is a serious contender at 154 right now, he has fought tough fighters in the top 25 and passed those tests.

Like I said Vanes right now is still a green unproven prospect, he looked good at times in his last fight but Medina is not a very good gauge since he too was an unproven fighter. We probably won't know how good Vanes is for sometime since Charles Howe looks like another bum.

So right now with the way both careers have gone Vanes would be over matched against Angulo.

Angulo would beat Martirosyan right now IMO, his performance against Tsurkan really impressed me, he is the best 154 pound prospect, I think we can even start calling him a contender now in the division.
