Another sorry ass excuse. Typical Dirk, defending his boyfriends to the last.

Since I actually have boxing experience, my guess is I know more than enough about Nigel Benn.

Is that your new defense? "Do you even know about (insert British boxers name here)?"

LOL. Keep running to your boyfriends defense all the time.

You are phonier than a Chinese Redhead.

Seriously fella's, take the ego's private you clutter the forums for others.

Incidentally, Nigel Benn also said Calzaghe would have beaten him, a prime Eubank and Collins. So basicaly admitting he's the best SMW ever. Good to see boxers without so much self pride they can't judge objectively. The guy is very practical and open about not only his limitations but others.

I think Benn could beat Collins. He was better at what he did than what Collins was at what he did. The prime Eubank fight would have been competitive. Calzaghe was the wrong style and class for Benn. But yeah Benn did always seem pretty practical about his abilities for the most part.

Benn was a super puncher, truly explosive. But the bottom line is he lacked the boxing ability and was too easy to get hit to beat prime elites. He still had a punchers chance against anybody though.

Do you feel like Collins was a prime Elite?

Benn was looking like ****e in these times.

He lost to Maligna whose head he would sent to the cheap seats in his prime. Roy would have KO'd this Benn in under 3 rounds.

**** no. Sorry my post was not intended as a direct reply to yours, simply a broad one on my take on Benn.

Hahaa, Thanks. Me neither. It's alarming to me that anyone actually does. But that's nuthugging for you.

I think Benn was just a better brawler than Collins. And despite that circumstances and problems with the Gerald fight, you have to give him that awesome win. I just don't see what Collins could do to him, that he couldn't do way better back.
