Read what you wrote and tell me who sounds like a nuthugger. Margarito is not invincible ask Daniel Snatos who almost knock him out in the 1rst round on their second fight.

I was yelling at the TV go to the body go to the body. The thing that prevented Cotto from hitting Marg in the body was allthose vicious uppercuts Marg was throwing. Every time Cotto bent his knees Marg throw 4 and 5 uppercuts with the left or right hand consecutively....Lefty

Well, of course there's always a counter for every counter lol. The reason for that was that he wasn't jabbing before he did that. The reason Marg knew he would go to the body is because he could see everything Cotto was doing. How do you do that? Jab to the eyes, block the vision and distract, throw 2 jabs, mix it up. But Cotto is so used to being able to do what he wanted against smaller opposition. If you notice Cotto was constantly waiting on Marg to do something, then throw his combinations after Marg was finished. Easier said than done but that's why Marg won the fight.

That is complete bull****. Sometimes you have to create openings when one is not there. That is what very good to great fighters do. So I guess as of right now and back then Cotto was neither.

That's what I'm saying. Throw the jab to the eyes, I didn't see enough of that from Cotto.

what i don't understand is how can you feel margarito beat williams and also think he beat clottey when both fights were similar in the clottey fight you feel like margarito won because he was throwing more punches but in the williams fight paul threw more punches, so explain

I generally have it 6-5-1 to 7-5 for PWill once I took a step back and stopped viewing solely from Tonys perspective. He built a lead Tony couldnt catch up on but it does get closer the more beer I drink.

clottey won the first 5 rounds if you give any of those 1st 5 rounds to margarito you are just bias after the 5th round the rounds start to get closer but i still didn't think margarito was really landing anything
